Chapter members worked the first More Life Festival, May 10-June 7, 2008 as part of PRSA’s yearlong volunteer push.
More Life Festival is a collaboration of the AIDS Outreach Center, Fort Worth Opera, Samaritan House Tarrant County, AIDS Interfaith Network and more than 20 arts, science and education organizations.
The festival was designed to educate the community, boost awareness of resources and reduce the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS.

 Greater Fort Worth PRSA was out in force — 21 enthusiastic members, family and co-workers — April 26 at the Tarrant County Komen Race for the Cure. “Everyone on the PRSA PINK Breast Cancer Combat Team appeared to enjoy the beautiful, crisp weather and the incredibly energizing atmosphere,” reports organizer Carol Murray. “And yes, we did have the coolest shirts around!” PRSA raised more than $1,000 for the cause, and donations are still being accepted online.
